Pierce County Parks in partnership with McLendon Hardware proudly present “Pitch in for Parks” a great volunteer based opportunity to pitch in and help the community. Volunteers are welcome to Pitch In for an hour or two or the entire time.
Chambers Creek Regional Park - Grandview Trail
We supply the tools, water and a snack – you bring the enthusiasm to make a big difference in our parks, open spaces and trails. We invite you to come “rain or shine”. Remember dress appropriately for weather conditions, bring gloves and the willingness to get dirty for this community service activity open to all ages (ages 14 and under with guardian) and abilities.
Did you know that English ivy is classified as a Class C noxious weed in Washington? That means it's a widespread problem in our state. Join us at the "Spot of Shade" along the Grandview Trail, and we'll do our part to clear out the invasive ivy and allow our native plants to grow and thrive.
