Pierce County and the Puget Sound are at a crossroads. Within the next 100 years, our region's population will double: growing to more than 9 million people -- about the size of Los Angeles. We are standing at the threshold of an unprecedented boom in construction as our population soars. How we build, where we build and how we live differently will decide our future -- the future of our natural landscapes, the future of Puget Sound and the future our children and grandchildren will inherit.

Chambers Creek Foundation, in partnership with visionary citizens and public leaders, is pioneering models for practices and learnings in environmental reclamation and education at Chambers Creek Properties -- the largest urban environmental living classroom in the Puget Sound Bioregion.

Thousands of residents and tourists enjoy magnificent views of Mt. Rainier, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains while walking, running or biking four miles of trails or playing a round of golf at Chambers Bay (home of the 2010 U.S. Amateur and 2015 U.S. Open), relaxing in over 30 acres of open lawns, delighting in the sounds of a fabulous concert or savoring a wonderful meal at the Chambers Bay Grill. And, we have only just begun to realize the visions of a 50-year Master Site Plan.
